Shutdown

It’s Christmas eve and perhaps several companies will go for some sort of a break for a few days or weeks. It is something families should enjoy while it lasts. And when we all come to the new year, we all hope that businesses come back to great speeds for the good of everyone. Imagine recruitment organizations going really busy doing interviews and maybe international background check! As they say, busy is good! We’ve had the economic downturn this year. We can all pray for a great year up ahead.

With or Without

Due to several factors, we have decided not to put up our Christmas tree this year. Well, we did put up a small one. But setting up the huge one is something we sorely missed. And while what we have is but an artificial christmas tree it has just become a tradition for everyone in the family to gather around to put up the tree and kick-off the Christmas celebrations. But with or without a tree, Christmas it will be!

Away We Go

I can’t quite recall when I did some sort of countdown. Well, now I am. There’s a just a lot of things going on in the next few weeks. There’s school wrapping up, birthdays, holidays, Christmas, New Year and so on. The calendar is all packed up there’s no way we could squeeze in orlando vacations however interesting that may really sound. But hey, perhaps next year?

Home is Not a House

Personally, I have tried to be consistent not to interchange usage of a house vs. a home. I was brought up to understand that a house is the physical structure. On the other hand, a home is something more complex to explain. Of course if you flick through a dictionary, they can indeed be used interchangeably. But I’d like to keep it that way: manufactured house and not manufactured homes. And of course, a loving home and not a loving house!
