Still a Baby… But…

This week, my youngest daughter CN attended her first orientation in ‘big school’. Excited? Well, perhaps there is no set of words to describe it. My husband would frequently tell her, ‘Why are you going to big school? You’re still a baby.’ I like CN’s reply as it should make any parent feel young with or without eye wrinkle cream. Her answer: ‘Yes I’m still a baby, but I’m already five years old!’

Tricks of Trade

Yesterday we made a visit to our local hardware warehouse store. That was essentially to get a few things that would help us ease into the rental home we just moved into a few weeks back. Of course the amount of industrial supplies that one can get for a rental home has limits compared to if it were our own. Well, here’s certainly hoping that soon we’ll be able to buy a drill that would let us poke holes on the walls to hang our family pictures.
