Pet Tools
My eldest daughter really wanted a pet. And while I am not exactly a pet lover, you could probably imagine how I probably want to give in. But due to contractual matters, we could not readily get one without seeking from our landlord. Anyway, I do applaud the pet owners as I know it may take a bit more work than just playing catch or fetch stick. Depending on the type of pet, it may take keeping pet toys, pet supplements, and of course other ‘pet tools’. That does not even include ‘maintenance’ such as bringing them to vets as well as doing the other manual work.

Back In Action
In a few more years, I will be a mom to a teenager. I’m sure that will bring new challenges. To some extent, it will probably bring me back in action with regards to dealing with the myriad of changes. So when I thought that I’m done with pimples, I’ll probably have to go through acne treatment reviews or even teenage fashion! Excited? Well, I know that time will come. For now, I’ll just enjoy where we’re at.

Purging
When we moved house last week, I realized that there are a lot of things that we should ‘let go’ of. So while moving is not exactly a comfortable and relaxing thing to do, the fact that we get to clean and purge things is a good thing. With a lot of clutter cleared up, it’s probably like a body getting a colon cleanse. Perhaps it’s not the best analogy. But hey, all the cleaning does make us feel good after all the work.

Give Me a S!
Celebrating our kids’ birthdays is always ‘an event’ in our family. CN can only be too excited for hers to come as it will give her the key to go to big school next school year. We asked her what gift she wanted as we almost always do. Her reply this time was ‘you can’t tell me… it’s a surprise’. That made things a bit of a challenge for us then as we really have to find some surprise. Wii accessories, playhouse, craft toys… there’s just a lot to pick from. Anyway, what we got her was a miniature candy/toy grabber. We filled it with some sweets and some small stuffed toys for her to try and grab. Shhh… don’t tell CN, or it would no longer be a surprise.
