Pretzel

My kids and I have fun working and creating something good (and not so bad) in the kitchen lately. We get the ideas from watching cooking related TV shows. We also love ordering food that looks and tastes good then try to copy the dishes ourselves. This time we tried baking our own homemade soft pretzel. With this one we used wholemeal flour instead of the normal plain flour.

Soft Pretzel

Ingredients:
3 cups wholemeal flour
2 tblsp brown sugar
25 gms butter
1 pack powdered yeast
1 cup water

optional toppings: caramel, cinnamon sugar, jams, etc…

Handyman

My little daughter CN sees and calls her dad as a ‘fixer’. Whenever a battery operated toy stops working, she knows just who to ask for help: the fixer. Whenever something needs charging, there is no doubt who go to: the fixer. Broken toy? Well, that’s not a problem for the fixer. Needless to say, for my daughter, her dad can fix everything including the kitchen or even the bathroom sink! I’m quite sure my husband enjoys it whenever CN would tell him, “You’re good at fixing, aren’t you?”

Besides, for me, the best thing to enjoy on a public holiday is simple: my family.

Sweating It Out

Exercise and winter does not seem to go well together. Even while running on the treadmill, it seems like forever before sweat could creep out of the body. To compound things, when it is cold, the body seems to crave for more food for warmth. Well, if you’re not keen on Apidexin reviews, then the only way to go is to remain disciplined. Today is day one of winter here in Australia. My choice is to sweat it out.
