Imagination is Child’s Play

By reflexes June 18, 2009

Have you ever watched kids doing some imaginative play? You’ll see them come up with different kinds of toys and play out of thin air. He or she could be a doctor, a pirate, or their favorite cartoon character. There is practically no limits. I myself have often paused to look at my kids on imaginative play. I tend to look back saying, yes I did that when I was a kid, too. It would be great if we adults could keep on carrying the power of imagination in ‘real life’. A pastor once preached, ‘you are who you think’. I believe it is true. Oftentimes, it is easier to say than do. But for kids, it seems too easy. Just child’s play.

Tagalog Translation:
May isang pastor na minsang nagsabi, ‘you are who you think’.

When I was a kid, I always played the good cop (o sige na nga, minsan bad cop din ha ha) I wanted to be one but did not pursue it.

happy LP and have a good weekend :)

  • Welcome to Reflexes!

Reflexes are an unlearned or instinctive response to stimulus. Undeniably, some people discover new ‘reflexes’ when they become a parent. To dads and mums out there, you know what this means…

This weblog is dedicated to these people who have, or are still, discovering these REFLEXES…
