Sydney to Brisbane

Here’s a summary of our 10-day holiday to Queensland. We started off at Sydney and stopped at Coffs Harbour for an overnight stay. We did have a chance to look around the area just to get an idea for future trips! In the morning, we drove up all the way to Gold Coast, Queensland where we stayed most of the time. As we are already close to the capital city, Brisbane, we decided to do a day trip to it as well.

Just looking at the map alone makes me feel tired. But with all the fun that the entire family had, we can really say it is definitely worth the trip!

Happy new year! Did you go fossicking at Tamborine Mountain?

We didn’t get a chance to go to Tamborine Mountain as the schedule was too packed. We planned to go there just before we left but eventually decided not to. The decision turned out to be good as we heard of a freak storm hitting Gold Coast just right after we left.

Hi there, nice to see you decided on Queensland for your new years. The wife and I decided to get away from Sydney as well for this new years… or last years whichever way you look at it. We decided on the flying option, driving was just out of the question for us, but glad to hear you guys made such a long drive.
