So What Do You Do?

Some things are just not that easy to explain to kids. One of the things is probably the parent’s occupation. Well, some are probably rather easy such as explaining what a doctor or fireman does. But an IT consultant? It would definitely need more words to explain to children. A simple way to explain it is relating it with computer software or websites which they are already using. Of course we know that it takes a lot more than that. IT Consulting boundaries are really difficult to define. It covers a wide range of functions such that a specialist on one area is quite likely not to be a guru in another. It does appear to be a good occupation and wouldn’t want my kids to miss on it if it is something they would want to do.
